Lehigh Valley Poetry congratulates Damian Rucci on the release of a new poetry book, “The Former Lives of Saints” with midwest poet Ezhno Martin. The book dropped at a packed release party at Espresso Joe’s in Keyport, NJ this week. Rucci is also the organizer of a popular reading series there, Poetry In The Port that has featured many LV area poets. (He is an “honorary” LV poet because of these frequent event and project collaborations)
Rucci is bold, brash, funny, and he understands the dynamics of page-to-stage. He respects the audience and delivers with energy. You can catch him in Catasaqua on July 2 at the “I Hate Poetry” reading at the Unicorn Theater. Details to come here, check back.
