Another Tuesday Muse has come and gone, and December’s event included a special “muse mart” barter and sale session, for local creatives to share some wares and connect around handmade items and books. We didn’t have the space available to spread out, but thankfully our regulars were flexible and made it work. Bartering can be difficult as a concept- so we will continue to work on ways to make “cashless commerce” work as a community. Part of the idea is to share what people make, with less of a focus on sales- although selling is ok too.
December’s event featured music by folk guitarist Peter Christine, poet Melinda Rizzo, and the collaborative partnership of The Starry Eyes.
